The A's traded Rich Harden and Chad Gaudin to the Cubs for pitcher Sean Gallagher, outfielders Matt Murton and Eric Patterson, and minor leaguer John Donaldson.
Fantasy spin:
Moving to a contender and switching to the National League should help Harden's win total and ERA, respectively. However, Wrigley Field is more of a hitters' park than McAfee Coliseum. Overall, this looks like a good move for Harden. If you're an NL-only owner, you have another chance to make a splash if you missed out on CC Sabathia.
