CINCINNATI, June 19 (UPI)
Eric Stults gave up three runs and six hits in six innings Thursday helping the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-4 victory at Cincinnati and a three-game sweep.
Stults (1-0) replaced Brad Penny after he was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas in the Pacific Coast League Tuesday. Penny is on the 15-day disabled list with mild tendinitis in his right shoulder.
LA's Matt Kemp hit a solo homer and a two-run double for three RBI.
Four others had one RBI each, including James Loney, who went 3 for 4 and scored twice.
The Dodgers' Angel Berroa and Andre Ethier also had two hits apiece, while closer Takashi Saito earned his 10th save.
Cincinnati's Brandon Phillips had two hits and two RBI.
Norris Hopper and Paul Bako had one RBI apiece for the Reds, who have dropped five in a row.
Losing pitcher Aaron Harang (3-10) gave up five earned runs and 10 hits in five innings.
